Workshop | Circularity for Alternative Raw Materials

The opening session was attended by Professor João Bordado, Full Professor at the Instituto Superior Técnico, Modesto Araújo, CEO of VIZELPAS - Flexible Films, the leading company in the consortium, and Bruno Pereira da Silva from PIEP - Innovation in Polymer Engineering, the scientific coordinator of the project.

This was followed by presentations on the work carried out within this PPS and their respective results, given by Renato Reis from PIEP - Innovation in Polymer Engineering, Cristiana Torres from the Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa - FCT NOVA, and Rui Galhano dos Santos from the Instituto Superior Técnico.

The workshop concluded with a panel discussion on "Promoting sustainability through a circular economy - towards a greener future," moderated by Bruno Pereira da Silva and consisting of Nuno Aguiar from APIP, Catarina Rodrigues from Quercus, and Professor Ana Marques from the Instituto Superior Técnico.
